Photos of food packaging for the Amazon website

At Snapshot Studio, we carried out a new photo shoot for products dedicated to online sales. This time, our focus was on packaging and bags for bread and food products, including beets, potatoes and other goods that require a practical, aesthetic and clear presentation.
During the session, we created various types of visual materials: traditional packshot photos on a white background, arranged photos with additional accessories, and product infographics illustrating the features, dimensions and uses of the packaging. As a result, the client received a complete set of images that can be used in an online store, on platforms such as Amazon and Allegro, in sales catalogues, as well as in promotional materials.
Food product photography requires a different approach than photographing premium products or cosmetics. In this case, clarity, functionality and showing the practical use of the product are key. The customer should quickly understand what the product is used for, what its dimensions are, what can be stored inside it and why this particular variant is worth choosing.

Product Photos of Packaging – Why Are They Crucial in Online Sales?
In e-commerce, a photo often replaces direct contact with the product. This applies not only to decorative items and electronics, but also to packaging, sacks, bags and accessories used in the food industry. The customer cannot touch the material, check the size of the sack or compare proportions. For this reason, properly prepared photographs must communicate this information in an accessible and attractive way.
Professional product photos help with:
- presenting the actual shape, size and proportions of the product,
- increasing trust in the offer,
- distinguishing the product from the competition,
- reducing the number of customer enquiries,
- lowering the risk of returns caused by unclear presentation,
- improving the overall quality of the product page in an online store,
- adapting the offer to the requirements of sales platforms such as Amazon or Allegro.
In the case of packaging for bread, beets, potatoes or other food products, it is important to show not only the bag itself, but also its intended use. A well-taken photo allows the customer to immediately understand whether the product is suitable for use in a bakery, grocery store, farm, warehouse, retail point of sale or for home food storage.

Packshots on a White Background – the Foundation of Professional Product Presentation
One of the key aspects of the photo shoot was creating packshots on a white background. This is the most important type of product photography used in online sales. These kinds of images are clear, universal and perfectly suited as main product photos in online stores and on sales platforms.
How Do We Create Packshots for Packaging and Bags?
Photographing bags, sacks and packaging requires careful product preparation before the shoot. The material must be arranged in a natural yet aesthetic way. Excessive creases, accidental folds or uneven edges can make the product look cheap or carelessly presented. On the other hand, completely smoothing the product is not always beneficial, as the photo should still reflect the real object.
During such a session, we focus on:
- Correct product arrangement – the bag or packaging must have a visible shape and clearly presented proportions.
- Lighting control – the light should highlight the texture of the material while avoiding overly harsh shadows.
- Maintaining authenticity – the product should look attractive, but also realistic.
- Edge clarity – in the case of light-coloured materials, separating the object from the white background is crucial.
- Technical retouching – we remove dirt, minor defects and elements that may distract attention, while preserving the true appearance of the product.
- File format adaptation – we prepare photos with online stores, Amazon, Allegro, catalogues and other sales channels in mind.
Packshots are extremely important when a customer is comparing several similar products. Clear, clean and consistent photos make it easier to make a choice and also build a professional brand image.

Product Infographics – Features, Dimensions and Application in One Image
Alongside traditional product photos, we also created infographics that present the key features and dimensions of the packaging. They are an important element of modern online sales, especially for products that are used in everyday life.
Thanks to an infographic, it is possible to quickly provide information that customers often look for before making a purchase. In the case of bags and packaging, this may include, for example: sizes, capacity, intended use, type of closure, material, food contact suitability, type of use or different product variants.
Why Do Infographics Improve the Effectiveness of an Offer?
Online customers usually do not read entire product descriptions carefully. Instead, they scan images, compare different offers and make decisions based on what they see in the gallery. Therefore, a well-designed infographic can significantly increase the attractiveness of a product.
In the case of food packaging, infographics can illustrate, among other things:
- bag or sack dimensions,
- examples of product use,
- the type of food that can be stored,
- material properties,
- method of use,
- durability or functionality,
- number of pieces in the set,
- size comparison,
- information important for both wholesale and retail sales.
As a result, the product page becomes more detailed. The customer does not have to search through a long description to find key information, as they receive it directly in the image. This is particularly important on Amazon, where the product gallery has a strong influence on purchasing decisions.

Lifestyle Arrangement Photos – Presenting the Product in the Right Context
The third aspect of the project involved arrangement product photos with additional objects. In the case of bags for bread, potatoes, beets or other food products, such images make it possible to present the scale, function and natural environment in which the product is used.
A photo of the bag itself on a white background is essential, but it is usually not enough. Only a photograph showing bread, vegetables, a wooden countertop, crates, baskets or other contextual elements reveals the product’s practical appearance. This type of image is more effective from a marketing perspective and can be used not only on the product page, but also in banners, catalogues, social media and marketing campaigns.
What Benefits Do Styled Product Photos Bring to the Client?
Styled product photos help create an idea of the product in the customer’s mind. In the case of food packaging, they can show that the bag is functional, visually appealing and perfectly suited to a specific use. This is especially important when the product is aimed at bakeries, shops, food manufacturers, farms, restaurants or retail customers.
A good styled product photo should be a carefully planned composition. Every additional element should support the message rather than distract attention from the main product. That is why, during the session, we pay close attention to the selection of props, background, lighting and composition layout.

Packaging Photography for E-commerce, Amazon and Allegro
The materials created during this session can be used across various sales channels. Packshots can serve as main product images, infographics as informative illustrations, and styled photos as elements that increase the attractiveness of the entire offer.
In the case of online sales of food packaging, it is worth preparing a comprehensive product gallery that includes:
- the main product image on a plain background,
- views showing the product from different perspectives,
- close-up shots of the material, texture and workmanship details,
- an infographic presenting the dimensions,
- an infographic with the key product features,
- an image showing the product in use,
- a styled image with bread, vegetables or other food products,
- a graphic comparing different variants, sizes or applications.
Such a gallery attracts much more attention than a single packshot. It allows the customer to become more familiar with the product, understand its purpose more quickly and make an easier purchasing decision.

How Do Professional Photos Affect the Sales of Packaging?
Professional product photos influence the way a brand is perceived. Even the simplest utility item can appear durable, aesthetic and trustworthy if it is properly captured in photos. In the case of food packaging, this is extremely important, as customers usually compare several similar offers.
High-quality photos make it easy to conclude that the product is well-developed and ready to be introduced to the market. Thanks to professional photography, the manufacturer or distributor can present their offer more effectively to audiences such as shops, wholesalers, restaurants, bakeries, farms and individual customers.
A professional photo shoot provides the client with materials that can be used in many places at the same time: on the website, in an online store, in a PDF catalogue, on Amazon, Allegro, in social media, sales presentations and promotional campaigns.

Snapshot Studio – Product Photography for Manufacturers and E-commerce
At Snapshot Studio, we create product photos for manufacturers, distributors, brands and online stores. We offer packshots, styled product photography, infographics, lifestyle photos and promotional materials tailored to online sales.
For products such as packaging, bread bags, vegetable sacks, shopping bags or food storage accessories, we combine a technical approach with a marketing perspective. On the one hand, we ensure an accurate presentation of the product, its dimensions and features. On the other hand, we create visuals that are aesthetic, consistent and eye-catching for consumers.
As a result, our client receives not only photos, but also a comprehensive set of materials supporting sales. This solution is particularly important in e-commerce, where the quality of visual presentation often influences whether a user stays with the offer or chooses a competitor.
Professional product photography of food packaging makes it possible to present the product in a clear, specific and convincing way. A packshot provides clarity, an infographic delivers key information, and a styled photo shows practical use. The combination of these three elements creates an effective sales gallery that helps present the product better and increases its chances of selling online.
